WHAT WE BELIEVE
About the Bible
The basic and fundamental doctrine of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle is that we believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God. The Bible is the authority for salvation and Christian living.
About Sin and Salvation
According to the Word of God everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based upon the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
About the Gospel
The gospel is the good news that Jesus died on a cross for our sins, was buried in a borrowed tomb and rose again on the third day. The proper response to the gospel is repentance (death to sin), baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins (burial); the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Sprit gives the utterance (resurrection).
About the Future
Those who are righteous will inherit eternal life.
We also believe:
There is one God and his name is Jesus. God is a forgiving and loving God. As Christians we are to love God and others. Our lives should reflect Christ in actions, attitudes, and motives. We should worship God with thanksgiving and praise. The supernatural gifts of the spirit including healing are for the church today.
